Assistant Project Manager


We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager with a BS degree in engineering and/or construction management to join our team.

Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Primavera 6 CPM Scheduling
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • History of building strong professional relationships
  • Ability to read and comprehend plans and specifications with a broad knowledge of all trades involved
  • Effectively allocate resources and time

The Assistant Project Manager’s essential function is to provide support to the project. Specifically:

  • Coordination with the Project Manager and Project Superintendent
  • Attend project meetings as required
  • Review job cost reports weekly and assist in preparing monthly cost projections with Project Manager
  • Assist Project Manager in preparing data for monthly invoices
  • Assist Project Manager in the review, logging, and distribution of shop drawings and submittals
  • Prepare correspondence to Owner, Architect, Engineer, Subcontractors and Material Suppliers under the guidance of the Project Manager
  • Assist in the preparation of change order proposals to the Architect or Owner
  • Assist Project Superintendent in coordinating required inspections by regulatory agencies and attend State Fire Marshal inspections
  • Assist in compiling and completing project punch lists
  • Participate in continuing education opportunities as management requests
